Casalinghe-Housewife
Casalinghe-Housewife
Venezia 2011
Two housewives are running around the city with their shopping carts. One old, red and black, the other one white, as a bride in the most important day of her life, her dress made of straps, a symbol of futility and frivolity. They stop the people on the street and offer sweets that look like Japanese animals, each one with its own mood, and sprayed of whipped cream. They bring with them the music, one electronics of our time, and one of the past,
perfumes, one of teh history and one of the future. This performance was created to express the spirit of my art. Enter in to everyday life, like the joy of preparing a cake for your loved persons, or share it with a stranger. The frivolity of going to the supermarket with her highheels, enjoy every single moment and transmit electricity in to the road, at any age, but also accepting the duality of life.Art can not be limited to the artistic gesture, but can
be lived daily in the street, as an inner meditation. Venice 2011
