Insonnia
Insonnia
180x120 cm. 2011.
This work is inspired by the client. He loves the oaks, Napoleon Bonaparte, the pomp of the Empire, he has a strong personality and a lots of imagination, he’s suffering of insomnia because he has too many thinkings. So I imagined a tree that is actually a palace, where happen court intrigues and secrets. the Moon is actually his eye, we do not know if it’s his thoughts to keep him awake, or if he want to spy him-self, intrigued by his own personality. The lovers hide in the most unexpected places, even in the inner bark of the tree, permeated of love. In a branch there is a ballroom, in another the creative arts, than the tea-time and Napoleon's triumph on his horse and the coronation of Josephine. Acrylic on plywood. 180x120cm. 2011.

Sesso tra fiori e bicicletta-Sex between flowers and bicycle
Sesso tra fiori e bicicletta-Sex between flowers and bicycle
This painting born from the desire to understand the sport.
Sport is masculinity, rationality, simplicity. Often the woman does not understand, in her refined and complex frivolity, how her boyfriend could ride for 5 hours without thinking about anything, just enjoying the landscape and the clean-fresh air that enters into his nostrils. So is expressed the desire to share the masculine side. The cold metal structure is transformed into a soft and curvy body of a woman, blue as the ocean to breathe together. The wheels that support the weight of the world, become factories of flowers, sensuality, with hot pink high heels, and life. The duality is between the hot pink and the light blue. Each one of us to achieve happiness must reach his male and female side. A butterfly, or perhaps a vagina or a flower, is turning into a multi colors peacock. The ellipse represent the universe where love happen. Acrylic on canvas. 140x80. 2012

Il ramo dell'esistenza-The branch of life
Il ramo dell'esistenza-The branch of life
This painting is dedicated to the artist's mother. Along this branch, representing the arm of the artist's mother, we find various objects of her life which seem to tell her story. Women love decorating their homes with beautiful and elegant (but unnecessary) show pieces which bring charm and style to their homes and mark the passage of time. This branch is decorated like a Christmas tree in which every object carries a history of meanings: various cookies that the artist's mother used to eat in the past, a dream catcher used to watch over her daughter, a San Martino (a typical Italian cake), a Christmas ball, a piece of lace from Burano, a satin foulard head scarf of the 60's, a red bow used to celebrate the artist's birth, a glass ball from Murano, etc... On the tip of this branch we find a green bud, representing life after death and therefor the continuity of life. This work was exhibited during the artist's personal exhibition housed in the “3D gallery” in Mestre, which took place in 2010. 150x50 centimeters, acrylic colors on plywood.

Natura viva-Alive nature

" Alive nature" is the exasperated concept that I want to express in my art. This is the most important historical theme of art history, the dead nature is, in fact, where the artist began to paint not only religious subjects or portraits, but things and objects that speak about his love for life. So I chose some of the fruits that i love more and I expressed my feelings of positive energy and love. The human come back to be the protagonist, immersed in nature and imagination of a magical world. I used nail enamels and decorations as to ask a provocative question: "Isn’t better to put nail enamel than to have the war inside of you?". The fund is intentionally blank to emphasize the fiction of painting. The oysters are fresh squirting vaginas, sacred temples where pray the life, bananas are waves to surf, inside of the mango there are infinite universes, the hedgehogs are bombs, the pineapple is a palm or a slot machines ...
